Sutton Courtenay

I love this time of the year when the colours are so vibrant everywhere. I think May is my absolute favourite month, but driving around today it was so stunning. Crystal clear in the sunshine, well when it wasn’t raining that is!

Ever since I started working the beautiful village of Sutton Courtenay has been somewhere I drive through occasionally. In the old days we had a supplier outside Abingdon who we collected from regularly and in those days the only real way of getting there was this way. That supplier has long gone, but I do deliver in the area occasionally and it really is a picture postcard setting.

Another update about Prince. The vet decided not to do a full biopsy today preferring to do the less intrusive needle smear sample. Although this option is less accurate as you are narrowing down the area you are extracting from, he said that it would mean that Prince would only have to have one surgical procedure this way if it comes to that. Obviously it’s an unknown, but hopefully there will be options for Prince that are still in the best interests for him and his quality of life 🤞🤞

This actually meant that he was only at the vets for half an hour and so came into work with me as normal, and was out in the van with me when I was going through Sutton Courtenay.

I have now approved the artwork for the vinyl LPs. Typically when the proofs arrived last night I spotted an obvious mistake on the Side 1 label! That is now correct and along with the sleeve artwork it has now gone past the point of no return. For someone who has published books and done artwork for printed carrier bags for many years, I am pretty hopeless when it comes to proof checking my own work. I always seem to miss something, so I am sure when the vinyl LPs arrive I will spot a glaring error 🤣 Please keep the support coming in for the album.
