Poodolph the reindeer is back for 2022, and this year Poodolph has been revamped with a totally new look. Of course, he is still raising awareness about bowel cancer this Christmas, and all profits raised from every sale are donated to Bowel Cancer UK. Poodolph would make a wonderful gift for children and adults alike, and is a really fun way to raise awareness about bowel cancer. I am looking forward to seeing lots of festive photos once again. A special mention as always to bowel cancer survivor Heather Grimes for coming up with the genius name!

Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the UK. Each year 16,000 lives are lost. However, if detected early it can be successfully treated in over 90% of cases. At the moment just 15% of cases are detected at the early stage 1.

The Poodolph Christmas Video

I have been fundraising since 2012 after my mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer. She lived with bowel cancer for four and a half years. The cancer spread to her left lung pretty much at diagnosis, and then in the last 9 months of her life it also spread to her brain. She was able to lead a very happy and normal life until the final few months, and she died in August 2016. All my fundraising is now dedicated to Mum’s memory

So let’s have some festive fun this Christmas with Poodolph.
