My mother died on August 29th 2016 from bowel cancer. She had been diagnosed 4 years earlier in 2012, and had undergone 5 operations during that time. The initial bowel operation was a success, but unfortunately the cancer had already spread to her left lung. Finally the cancer also spread to her brain, and her condition deteriorated. Mum became terminally ill during the summer of 2016. She died peacefully with me, and my brother and sister, at her bedside.

I began fundraising after Mum’s bowel operation 2012, and since her death I have found the charity work to be a very cathartic and rewarding experience. I have met some amazing people in the cancer community – some of whom are sadly are no longer with us.

I want to raise as much money as possible for Bowel Cancer UK, the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. The fundraising currently stands at around £10,000 and I am now also supporting the Love Hope Strength Foundation.

100% of the sales profits of all the items being sold are donated to the charities.
