“Destination Unknown” is the second cancer fundraising album from Fields of Dawn. It is now available to pre-order and once again 100% of the profits raised from every sale will be divided between three amazing cancer charities. Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength and The Bowel Movement. Mum died of bowel cancer in 2016, so it’s a cause very close to my heart.
The clear vinyl edition features 10 brand new songs written and recorded over the course of Summer 2023. The album is being released on CD, Digital Download, Flash Drive and a limited run of the clear vinyl LP, which is a UK lathe pressing. There are also some discounted multi format packages available. To keep prices down this time postage is not included in the listed prices, but will instead be calculated at check out.
The sound of the LP builds on the debut album, “A New Dawn” keeping the punky / power pop guitar sound. For this album I have switched from my BOSS digital recorder to Logic Pro on the Mac, which has enabled me to experiment with some different guitar sounds.
