The gardening spam begins 😅

This rhododendron in my back garden never lets me down, and it is on the point of bursting into full bloom once again. It’s also a very special plant as it was a gift from Mum many years ago. Just a tiny plant back then and just look at it now. It’s still in a pot although a half barrel, but it’s never going to be moved again me thinks. Mum definitely inspired me to take more of an interest in gardening as she loved her garden. Dad loved his vegetables and mum her flowers ❤

This is my dahlia from last year. I gave myself a scare, as when reading up on their care a few days ago, I discovered that it is recommended to store them indoors over winter and then replant them outside once the frosts have finished. I bought myself another one this year, but this time I wanted to grow one from the actual tubers. The things you learn about eyes and how too plant them. Anyway I removed my old one today just to see if it was dead, and thankfully it looks healthy with those eyes on the tubers, so fingers crossed it will come back this year and I will have plenty of dahlias to enjoy 🤞

Tonight I began working on another new track for the Fields of Dawn album. This one is going to be a tough one as I want it to be closing track on the album and at the moment it could end up being 6 minutes long. I’ll see how it goes. For starters I have just worked out the tempo and paid down a guide guitar track a guide vocal. I’ll begin building the proper guitar tracks next. Oh and the album title will be coming soon. I hope everyone has enjoyed the bank holiday. Work will be a shock tomorrow… x
