The loss of Laura Hopkinson to bowel cancer was devastating. She had become a wonderful friend over the last few years. A beautiful soul on the inside and out, and a wonderful Mum to Ivy and George.

By giving myself 5 months to get the new Fields of Dawn album organised for release, I took a bit of the pressure off myself. The first format to arrive in October were the CDs which looked absolutely stunning.

Perhaps my favourite gig on 2023 was the very special 40th anniversary concert celebrating the release in 1983 of 68 Guns by The Alarm.
August 2023
August saw The Majority return with a second release of 2023. Once again it was Ad’s amazing creative vision that turned my words and music into the most amazing track.
April 2023
April being bowel cancer awareness month saw the release from Fields of Dawn of The Final Post EP. This very special release supported Bowel Cancer UK, The Bowel Movement and Bowel Cancer Australia.
March 2023
March began with some live music with a hometown gig for The Vapors which also celebrated lead singer Dave Fenton’s 70th birthday.
