Since mum died of bowel cancer in 2016, I have been left with questions about the the use of steroids in cancer treatment, in particular about during her final months when the cancer had spread to her brain.

I met the host of MasterChef before his one man show at the Norden Farm Arts Centre in Maidenhead, which is the road where my mum and dad lived all their married lives, and where I grew up.

I met television presenter Siân Lloyd for The Record, my fundraising book which is raising funds for Bowel Cancer UK. We met at the stunning Dartmouth House in Mayfair, and chatted for a couple of hours, and without doubt it was one of my favourite experiences and chapters in the book.
My work travels took me to Swindon today, so I decided to try my luck and take my stop bowel cancer bear Charlie to The County Ground, the home of Swindon Town Football Club and see if we could get into the ground to take a photo.
Travelling to Glasgow a couple of years ago to meet STV presenter Laura Boyd was the furthest I travelled to meet anyone for The Record.
