Are there any gardening experts reading this I wonder… The good thing is once again the roses in my garden are out in full bloom and gorgeous this year. The not so good news is it doesn’t look like my peony is going to flower 😭 I bought the plant in 2020 and last year I was blessed with some wonderful flowers. For some reason this year although it looks healthy there is no sign of any flowers. It’s not been moved, so it is exactly the same as last year. What am I doing wrong? Of course it’s not exactly a first world problem 😅 In other gardening news I have bought some tiny marigold bedding plants and I want to see if they will work on the folk’s grave this summer and not be eaten by the wild life, who much to Mum’s frustrations when she was alive, would eat pretty much every flowering plant she put on the grave. I’ll grow them on at work before I take them to the churchyard.

Of course today was the start of the long Jubilee weekend. I hope those of us fortunate enough not to be working have had a lovely day. It is unusual to have a public holiday on a Thursday and it does feel like a Saturday… Lord knows what tomorrow will feel like! 😊

I have the beginnings of a new song, and if it comes together I might be able to add it to the album. The remaining track I’m working on is a track that I am getting a little outside help on, so while I wait for that it does possibly allow me an opportunity to record an extra track… Until tomorrow x
