It’s been a long and busy week, so it was nice to see this beautiful skyscape tonight as the sun set. I spent the morning out in the van with Prince, and we got the delivering of orders up to date. After a quiet January at work, February was fairly busy and it’s continuing into this month. The longer this lasts the better of course. With rising costs, never ending price increases, and a very uncertain future it’s hard to predict anything at the moment, but having got through the last couple of years I will put everything into getting through whatever the future at work holds.
After the last few week with the incredible support for the teddy bears, things have have quietened down over the last couple of days, and I’ve actually caught right up to date with all the orders, apart from the few blue hoodie back orders. I am still trying to take in just how many kind and generous people there are out there, and all I do know is that Monique Buckingham is much loved and cared about by an awful lot of people. She is very poorly and remains very much in our thoughts x

Tonight I have watched Against The Ice. The screenplay was co-written by Joe Derrick, who is the brother of my fellow Alarm fan and friend Cathi Simpson. It’s a cracking film about survival against the odds in the Arctic based on a true story. It’s on Netflix, so give it a watch!
One of things that I try to do is treat myself occasionally. I’m aware that self-care is very important when it comes to mental health. Yesterday I ordered two new tour t-shirts from The Alarm who begin their 40th anniversary tour in a couple of weeks. I’ve yet to decide whether to see them in Oxford and/or London, and after over two years since my last gig it’s something I am really looking forward to. Today I ordered a special fundraising t-shirt from another band I like, The Levellers. It’s a Peace Plane t-shirt in Ukrainian colours with all profits going to Warchild who specialise in supporting children affected by war. Until tomorrow x
