This time one week ago, the idea came to launch the Life of Mique teddy bears to support the Go Fund Me page for Monique Buckingham. Monique is currently in hospital and has been told that there is no more treatment available to her on the NHS, so any other treatments will have to be privately funded. In the last seven days the bears have been created and begun to be shipped out. However, most importantly the support from everyone has been staggering, and shows just how much love out there is for Monique. Today’s orders have pushed the amount raised to an amazing £500, which has been donated to the fund which now stand at £70,000. I can’t everyone enough for the support, as these ideas are nothing without you people generously giving. Please keep the support coming for the bears. The latest update from Monique’s family is that she remains very poorly, so my love and thoughts go to Monique and the family x

I have also been thinking an awful lot this week about friendships. I am not someone who feels very comfortable with having praise heaped upon them. However, the amount of love, appreciation and warmth directed my way this week has been quite amazing. So many wonderful kind messages and comments, and it does really mean a lot and I am incredibly grateful. I hope that many of the new contacts I have made blossom into lasting friendships x
