Today I began work on the CDs for the Fields of Dawn album. Whereas with the vinyl label where I went quite traditional, for the CD I have based the label on the cover design. It should look quite striking. I will post the master CD off tomorrow and then can sit back and wait for the CDs to arrive.
I am ordering 50 CDs, which means that I am going for broke with this album. With 100 vinyl LPs ordered the total is 150, which is probably far too ambitious and is going to take some selling. Please keep supporting the album. I am so proud of it x All profits raised from every sale are being shared between Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength and The Bowel Movement.
Today I launched the F&%k Cancer metal pill boxes. It seems that the sad news within the cancer community has been pretty relentless for a while now, and the I think the message on the tins sums it up really. This logo and phrase is much used as for so many people out there it applies day in day out. All profits from every sale of these tins will be donated to Cancer Research UK. I wanted to apply the funds raised from the cancer community as a whole.
Finally an update on Prince. He has had a really good day after the surgery yesterday. He came into work, and you would never have guessed he had a tumour removed from his bum and was castrated 24 hours ago. He is eating normally, and showing no signs of distress. He is even taking his tablets hidden in wafer thin ham without protest so far 😆 He goes back to the vets on Thursday after work for a check up x
