It’s been quite an interesting and eventful day. I have said on a number of occasions recently just how helpful the photos I receive from people with their copies of A New Dawn are. On the back of receiving these two photos today more sales came through. I don’t want to tempt fate or put targets in place, but the fundraising total is so very close to £900 now. I really can’t thank people enough for supporting the record and helping me raise the funds for Bowel Cancer UK, The Bowel Movement and Love Hope Strength.
It will soon be reindeer time again. The last few years have seen Poodolph and #14 reindeer raise extraordinary amounts of money for Bowel Cancer UK and Love Hope Strength. This year they will be back but with this new model… Mark 2 if you like. I will also be adding a third reindeer into the mix, which won’t be supporting any specific charity. Instead the people that buy the reindeer will be able to tell me which charity they want the funds raised donated to.
This reindeer has yet to be given a name yet, so I am very much open to suggestions. Something festive perhaps and maybe not cancer related, because these reindeer would make an ideal Christmas present for children and some people might prefer for the reindeer to have a name not associated with cancer. Please help me out and suggest a few names x
I took my #TeamDDB teddy down to The Thames this afternoon to take a few photos. These bears are supporting the fundraising of stage 4 bowel cancer patient, Danny De Brabander, which is heading towards a staggering £100,000! Danny wants to try pushing them, so I’ve sent him a few photos to help him with the push. Hopefully, a few new orders might come in…
Finally, I now have scaffolding up front and back outside my house. On Friday I have solar panels being fitted. Hopefully this will save me some money, especially at the moment with rising energy bills. At the very least they shojuld add the market value of the house, so I think it’s a sensible investment 🤞🤞
