Tonight I mixed the Check Your Poo song, and have put it up live on the website for ordering now to make the most of bowel cancer awareness month. I’d love to know what everyone thinks of it. I’ve managed to include some of the key bowel cancer phrases in the lyrics, and hopefully have struck the right balance between getting an important raising awareness message across and producing something worth at least £1 🤞 I’m really happy that I have managed to do this so quickly, and having had a break from the music for 6 months I certainly feel like I have rediscovered my enthusiasm. Looking back when I recorded the last track, Friends, I was probably in the darkest place I have been, so everything was a struggle. Things are so much better now.
So Check Your Poo can now bought right now. It only costs £1, although there is a nifty option to pay more and help with the fundraising if you like. To take up this option you need to click on the Check Your Poo! digital download link rather than add to basket as this will take you to the product page where you can name your price. Every penny raised will be donated to Bowel Cancer UK as part of bowel cancer awareness month. Please help share this far and wide. I actually had quite a busy day at work, which was just as well, as I was so eager to get home tonight to work on the song mixing! I had a full load going out in the van this morning, and I will also have full loads going out on Monday and Tuesday, so I should be able to go into the Easter weekend is pretty good shape. My biggest current task is updating the website with the never ending price rises!
I hope everyone has a nice weekend planned. I head to Oxford tomorrow night to see The Alarm for my third and final time on their current tour. Until tomorrow x (or probably Sunday with the gig happening tomorrow)
