A great act of support and kindness was received today at work. One of the final things I’ve needed to source for the charity album has been the cardboard postal sleeves to send out the Vinyl LPs. Being in the packaging materials game you might think that this would be easy for me to sort, but not quite so. As far as boxes go I tend to deal with manufacturers who do not hold stocks as they do large box runs to order. I have been looking for between 50 and 100, which is way too small for them to normally consider running. Last week I contacted my main manufacturer and explained about the album and the charities it is supporting. They very kindly offered to make up a small run of boxes as a donation to the cause. The boxes arrived today and they are spot on. So that just leaves the arrival of the vinyl LPs hopefully in the next couple of weeks and everything will be in place.

The current state of play is over £500 has been raised so far. All profits will be donated to Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength and The Bowel Movement. I have now sold 26 out of the 100 Vinyl LPs and about 10 CDs out of the 50, so I have plenty of hard work to do if I going to sell the lot… A New Dawn comes out officially on September 16th and you can pre-order all the formats and a t-shirt below x
