One of the most relevant lyrics that I have written for my music is It’s a brand new year that comes from, On The Way Back, a song I wrote last year. At the time I wasn’t aware of just how much that song would apply and mean to me in 2022. I am carrying that thought through to how I am trying to approach each day and trying to view each day as brand new with a blank canvas. Looking at the sunrise at work first thing this morning that line from the song immediately sprang to mind.
I had some good news at work with a really decent order coming in from a regular customer. Pretty similar to an order I got from them last September and under normal circumstances I wouldn’t have expected this one so soon, not that I am complaining of course!
Also waiting for me at work this morning was this Christmas present from someone whose friendship I am very fortunate to have and it’s fair to say without whom I would not have sought out help for my mental health issues and I would still be stuck in the same place. No Christmas get together this time around, so it was really nice to receive these gifts today, and aren’t the teaspoons just the coolest and best things ever! x
Evening hopes of doing some music have once again been thwarted. This time my Microsoft Office has stopped working on my laptop and requires a complete reinstallation which is taking forever. However, I am not allowing this to frustrate me and just rolling with it quite happily which is the way to cope with these things. Until tomorrow x
