This is where me and Prince start our day at work every morning. The field is conveniently located at the back of our estate and is a lovely quiet place for Prince to stretch his legs before we start work. During the day I will then walk him out of the unit for his pit stops. However, today the surface is just too hot in this intense heat, so I drove Prince back round to the field at lunchtime for him to have a wander on the grass ❤
My friend John Frazer sent me this cracking photo of his Life of Mique teddy bear taken in North Wales at The Alarm’s staycation weekend. Once a month Mike and Jules Peters open up their village to fans of the band for an intimate weekend of live music. This has been happening for over a year, but alas the practicalities of not being able to take Prince with me have prevented me from going to date. However, it is on my radar and I hope that I can get to one in the future. All profits raised by every sale of these teddy bears are donated to Monique’s GoFundMe page x
One piece of sad news. This morning I was driving up the A404 from Maidenhead to High Wycombe. The carriageway in the opposite direction was closed by the police and unfortunately I could not help but see a body lying on the road covered by a blanket. I found this really upsetting and so so sad. All I know from reports is that a pedestrian was hit by a lorry. Slightly strange as there is no intersection or crossing close to where it happened, although it wasn’t far from a layby. I hope no-one else was hurt and that the lorry driver is ok. Just awful…
