Today was a really good day. The first Gift-A-Bears were sent on their way to their new homes. They look so good, and there is always a story behind each gift, which I will hopefully be able to share with you over the coming days and weeks. The choice of the charity to benefit from each sale is decided by the purchaser, so there are already a number of different charities in line for a few pennies! You can gift a bear to anyone or any organisation. It could be for a birthday, or for someone going through a tough time, or just to brighten up a friend’s day. Hospital wards and hospices could be organisations to benefit, but once again the choice is endless. You can order one right here x

As is the case on these clear and sunny winter days, my work unit was baltic today! Thankfully, me and Prince were able to go out in the van deliver orders all morning, so we stayed nice and warm. On our travels we came across the most beautiful scene of the very still and calm River Thames glistening in the sunshine at Datchet just outside Windsor. It was stunning, but unfortunately there was nowhere for me to pull over in the van, so I couldn’t get a photo of it. However, the main thing was it was such a peaceful scene and it rubbed off onto me.

This afternoon I had a CBT therapy session, which went well and I am continuing to really feel like I am making progress and taking so much from the sessions. These are very much the building blocks and tools that I need to keep me moving forward, and to help me deal with difficulties along the way.

Today was nicely uneventful. I felt calm and at peace, which I will take. A new Gift-A-Bear order to end the evening, so all is good! Until tomorrow x
