Today I bought a ticket to see Frank Turner in Reading this September. It’s something more to look forward to in the diary. September looks like being busy for gigs as I already have Kim Wilde and Steve Norman in the diary. Frank was absolutely fantastic with my last book The Record. He met me before his gig at the Reading Hexagon for a chat and photos, and put me on the guest list when he found out I hadn’t got a ticket to the show. He also then arranged for me to have a photo pass the following year for his concert in Southampton. Frank was also quite happy to have his photo taken with the bowel cancer tie to help spread awareness about bowel cancer. This time I will be going to the gig as a normal punter, and it’s been a while since I’ve seen him in concert, so I am looking forward to this!
I am still looking for Check Your Poo photos for the new music video. In the video you will see my poo prop and me holding A4 paper both which are things you could do. Just have fun and anything goes 💩 Please get them to me as soon as possible
The symptoms of bowel cancer can include:
- Bleeding from your bottom and/or blood in your poo.
- A persistent and unexplained change in bowel habit.
- Unexplained weight loss.
- Extreme tiredness for no obvious reason.
- A pain or lump in your tummy.
I am just about to close up work for the long Easter weekend. It’s been a busy week, and the ongoing continual price rises are making for interesting times, so I will be glad to have a few days away from it. Let’s hope it’s a lovely Easter for everyone ❤ Until tomorrow x
