Gina Irlam took Sergio, her #14 Love Hope Strength Reindeer, to the Mike Peters Hurricane Of Change concert in Darwen, Lancashire. She managed to get a photo with Mike, which now makes three of these fundraising reindeer to be photographed with Mike, the lead singer with The Alarm, who also co-founded the Love Hope Strength Foundation, and someone who has lived with cancer for over 20 years.

Paul Pederson came up with the #14 name, which is inspired by the ‘Thirteen Dead Reindeer’ song from The Alarm’s 2018 album Equals. It’s great to post so many great photos I receive, and be able to report that the 14th reindeer is alive and well. 100% of the profits raised from sales of the reindeer which cost £12.99 are donated to Love Hope Strength. Love Hope Strength: As a charity promotes innovative, music related, outreach and awareness programmes for leukemia and cancer sufferers, survivors and their families. The charity raises awareness and recruits potential donors to the organ and bone marrow registers.
To date sales of the #14 Reindeer have raised £200 for Love Hope Strength. The reindeer make a perfect Christmas gift and are also a fun way to raise awareness about cancer and the work that the charity does.
