So today I was thrown the first real curve ball with the current fundraising teddy bears in hoodies. I have been ordering numerous bears and hoodies over the last few weeks, and last Friday after the amazing response once again, I ordered more. The bears were available, but the hoodies were out of stock, but still due to be delivered today to Jocelyn at DMI Embroidery. Unfortunately she got an update this afternoon saying that the delivery was delayed with no expected date now, and it could be some time until they are available. This is happening more and more with goods at the moment most likely down to container issues, and sadly there is nothing you can do about it when it happens.

So what to do… The first problem is I have the orders already placed to fulfil and affects the Life of Monique and Gift-A-Bear teddies. This has meant me messaging all of those lovely people and explaining the situation. The hoodies do also come in red and fuchsia pink, and although I didn’t really want to offer more than the blue, as it can get quite complicated, there was no other option. On the rivers2cross.com website there are products that have been done in those colours like Poodolph the reindeer and the Kickasskell teddy bear, so I know that these alternatives will look amazing. With all the wonderful support, and as far as Monique goes the importance and urgency of the fundraising, I didn’t want to grind to a premature stop, so I’m embracing the madness and going with it. There’s no way this hiccup is going to derail this train. Please keep supporting if you cam x

In other news it was a busy and productive day at work with plenty getting done and hopefully a pretty nice new order in the pipeline. I have spent this evening packing up the last of the blue hoodies that I do have, which are going to the orders placed in chronological order, so I do have a nice load to drop in to the Post Office tomorrow.
