Each of the seasons comes with its own unique beauty and qualities. As much as I dislike the onset of cooler weather and the approach of Winter, the vibrant colours that we are treated to each Autumn take my breath away. I was driving to the dog field this morning and this lone tree caught my attention. Simply stunning and the golden colours were just amazing. At the other end of the day the sun had made way for a blanket cloud cover in the fading light before the rain came. The smells in the air brought back wonderful childhood memories when we used to go out exploring with dad. Someone was having a bonfire and it just took me right back. Beauty at this time of the year comes in all shapes and forms.

My brother sent me his photo taken today with my fundraising album. He had his vintage Leeds football shirt on in preparation for the match against Arsenal today. Did I mention I am an Arsenal fan? I am the happier one tonight. It’s a great photo as there is a picture of Mum and Dad on their wedding day on the mantlepiece.

The album has done so well raising over £900 for the three cancer charities to date. I am hoping it will make it to £1000. There are still 60 Vinyl LPs, 15 CDs as well as unlimited downloads you can buy from www.rivers2cross.com
