It’s now just seven days until I head into to Camden Town to see The Alarm at The Electric Ballroom, which will be my first live music in over two years. Prince now has the band’s poppy logo on his winter bomber jacket, so I am doing my best to convert him into becoming a fan. To be fair, over the years, he has had to listen to an awful lot of their music with me! 😂I also had a nice delivery in the post today. Two new Alarm tour t-shirts. I dread to think how many t-shirts I now own…

The current amount raised by the Kindness Vs Cancer teddy bears is around £375 which will be donated to the campaign set up by Laura Kendrick, who sadly recently died of bowel cancer. I delivered the first couple of bears this morning on my work travels, and once the postage savings are added in to the total I am sure the figure will be more like £450. I am hoping that all the orders received so far will be ready to deliver next week.

Some really wonderful and richly deserved news. Kelly Smith who died in June 2020, and who was an integral part of my book, The Record, was last night awarded The Pride of Cheshire. Throughout her illness she tirelessly supported others and helped to raise awareness about bowel cancer in the under 50s. Much love to her family today xxx
