Three more Life of Mique teddy bears are ready to go out in tomorrow’s post to their new homes. Another £60 was donated to Monique Buckingham’s Go Fund Me page today taking the total amount raised by the teddy bears to over £1300. I’ve always been a March 21st is the first day of Spring kind of person, but the first day of Spring 2022 in the UK astronomically occurs on the vernal equinox, 20 March. So hello Spring and bye bye Winter. It hasn’t been the worst Winter by a long way, but with our gardens waking up and colours beginning to colour our landscapes I always feel relieved that the worst of the cold is over and the next six months will full of longer daylight hours and warmer days.
I’ve got a busy week ahead. Tomorrow the bulk of the Kindness Vs Cancer teddy bears are being collected and going to homes mainly in Thatcham and Newbury. Tonight, 4 orders were collected for those who ordered in Andover. The sense of community rallying together in a very sad time, after the death of Laura Kendrick, is really inspiring.
I am really looking to finally going to see some live music on Friday in London after over 2 years. I shall be heading to The Electric Ballroom in Camden to see The Alarm. It should be a brilliant evening and I am also looking forward to seeing some familiar faces, who I won’t have seen since the pandemic started.
Plenty of work on this week too, so it should be a decent week on that front. I hope everyone has had a great weekend. Until tomorrow x
