Today I have started putting the video for the Check Your Poo song together. I wanted a few more photos and had a really good response, so I am just waiting on a couple more to be sent to me. Of course I will still gratefully accept any more that might come in as well. So hopefully the video will be ready to go live in the next few days. It is also possible that the track will be played on Hard Rock Hell Radio tomorrow night between 9.00pm and midnight, which is of course exciting… All publicity is so important and if you have any ideas or contacts please let me know x
The digital download of the track is available now. You can pay from just £1 to purchase it, and all profits raised from every sale are donated to Bowel Cancer UK. It is also available on all digital streaming and download platforms. I’d love people to buy the song, but more important is getting the message across and raising awareness about bowel cancer. Blood in your poo is one of the symptoms of bowel cancer. Knowing the symptoms might just save your life…
The symptoms of bowel cancer can include:
- Bleeding from your bottom and/or blood in your poo.
- A persistent and unexplained change in bowel habit.
- Unexplained weight loss.
- Extreme tiredness for no obvious reason.
- A pain or lump in your tummy.
Like most people I had to drag myself out of bed for the return to work today. I had a pretty productive day, although generally pretty quiet as lots of people are still off for a prolonged break over Easter. I went to the tip after work and while I was there I bought some compost, which is made from the recycled garden waste that goes to the site. Cheaper than the garden centres and less hassle than Lidl and Aldi 😉 Until tomorrow x
