My first ever pair of prescription sunglasses! Perfect timing in this insane heat. When I last updated my glasses, only a couple of years ago during lockdown, I switched back from varifocals to normal glasses. My reasoning at the time was that my income had dramatically dropped and I couldn’t justify the cost. Also that by using normal glasses and getting cheap reading glasses I would be fine. I think I was wrong on both points really. I had the savings to pay for new glasses back then and should have paid the money as these are a somewhat essential item in our daily lives. At the time my old glasses had broken in two, so they did need updating. The fact was I had got used and accustomed to varifocals and going back was ok, but there are so many times when I wish I had stuck with the varifocals. Anyway I have bitten the bullet and this time rather than go for two sets of normal lenses, I decided to go for sunglasses as my second pair in the usual 2 for 1 offer they do. This has been a long time coming , but as my eyes have slowly deteriorated over the years, this move is long overdue due to amount of driving I do and I shall be wearing them lots and lots no doubt. My other frames are fairly similar to what I have been wearing, so I won’t bore you with a picture of those. Prince looks interested 🤣
