It’s definitely happening!! On The Way Back my charity song by Fields of Dawn will be played by Richard Latto on Stereo Underground on BBC Sounds this Saturday night between 6.00 and 8.00pm. You can listen live or on catch up. If someone had told me two years ago when I released the Sunrise acoustic release that the music would raise more than £1000 and be played on the BBC I would never have believed it. Come and join me on Saturday night and it will be fascinating to see if the airplay sparks any sales or streams. Here’s hoping!


Today I took a complete set of the Gift-A-Bears to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice in Maidenhead, which provides specialist care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire and into surrounding counties. The bears were very generously donated by my American friend, Jennifer Saunders, whose husband sadly died of bowel cancer last year. To think of others at such a difficult time for her and her family is really kind and thoughtful of her. The profits from Jennifer’s order are being split between Bowel Cancer UK and Love Hope Strength.


The other Gift-A-Bear news today was a Cuddles teddy being sent out to a lady going through breast cancer, and she has asked for the profits to go to breast cancer, so that will go to Breast Cancer Now.

A pretty uneventful work day today. The highlight was a lorry load of bubble wrap arriving. At least it was dry to unload it which is always a bonus. This order had been lost by my supplier so my stocks have been rather diminished while I have been waiting for this to arrive. All good now and tomorrow I’ll be able to go out delivering.
