I am typing this post whilst listening to Hard Rock Hell Radio, as Dave Renegade is very kindly going to give my Check Your Poo song a play on his show between 9.00 and midnight. This will be the first play on radio anywhere for the track. As ever all airplay is greatly appreciated, especially for this song during bowel cancer awareness month. I always get an extra little buzz hearing anything of mine played on the radio. If anyone reading this has any ideas or connections for airplay then get in touch as all help is greatly appreciated.
Work on the video has continued today. I’ve received some brilliant support over the last 24 hours which really is the icing on the cake. At one point I thought that I would be using some of the photos I’ve recreated by adding Mr Poo to the scene. Some of you might have seen what I did with the Doctor and Rose Tyler saying goodbye in Dr Who. Anyway I now have enough photos to not need to do that. I’m still waiting on a couple more photos to arrive, but it won’t take long to finish the video and put it up live, so hopefully it’s very imminent now.
The digital download of the track is available now. You can pay from just £1 to purchase it, and all profits raised from every sale are donated to Bowel Cancer UK. It is also available on all digital streaming and download platforms. I’d love people to buy the song, but more important is getting the message across and raising awareness about bowel cancer. Blood in your poo is one of the symptoms of bowel cancer. Knowing the symptoms might just save your life…
The symptoms of bowel cancer can include:
- Bleeding from your bottom and/or blood in your poo.
- A persistent and unexplained change in bowel habit.
- Unexplained weight loss.
- Extreme tiredness for no obvious reason.
- A pain or lump in your tummy.
This was as far as Prince has managed to walk in the last four and a half years today at lunchtime. This was a walk we used to do every lunchtime up the hill and through the woods close to work. Today he made it about two thirds of the way before giving me that look that he had gone as far as he could. We didn’t quite reach the bluebells in the woods which are always beautiful, but what an amazing effort from Prince who just seems to be getting better and better. This is the dog who, in November 2017, was given a life expectancy of two months to two years with his seven slipped discs x
Work was busy in a good way today. We collected a job that I work on inhouse, and a couple of deliveries arrived, so I will be busy for the next few weeks. A potentially big repeat order came in as well, but I will need my customer to ok the price increases since their last order. Fingers crossed that will be done… And a great result for Arsenal tonight winning 4-2 at Chelsea ⚽ Until tomorrow x
