Finally, as the year draws to a close we arrive in December. After the mild Autumn the blast of Winter we had for about 10 days was hideous. The temperature in my unit on the farm was bitterly cold and not much fun at all. I was so pleased to see a return to the mild temperatures before Christmas. However, lovely to be able to get a picture of Prince in the snow.

Christmas has perhaps been my most low-key one ever, though perhaps on reflection that is no bad thing. I found it hard to feel festive in the build up, perhaps in part down to what has been going throughout the year in this country. It has been doom and gloom in the media all year. My own year has been good though as I have tended not to engage with the continual stream of bad news.

The fundraising was also more low-key this year during December. I sold a few of the revamped reindeer, especially good old Poodolph. The Fields of Dawn Reflection EP was well received, but the main fundraising for that release was back in November with the Vinyl launch. It will be interesting to see if anyone did download the EP, but realistically 2022 became all about the album, which had terrific support x

Having a week off work between Christmas and New Year is my annual holiday, as taking time off during the year in a one-man business is almost impossible, so I use this time to switch off and recharge the batteries, and I am feeling much better and refreshed already.

That was 2022. I wish everyone Very Happy 2023 ❤
