Although my work unit remains pretty baltic in the shade it has been a beautiful Spring day outside. No outside coat needed today and it’s just so nice to enjoy some warmth in the sunshine. Fortunately I was out in the van delivering most of the morning, and I even had to have the air conditioning on for Prince! I’ve spent the rest of the day getting the paperwork up to date and also sending off my application for a driving licence renewal. Prices at work are going to go silly in the coming weeks partly down to the unstable global situation and also due to the plastic tax coming in on April 1st. What I am much better at doing these days is not overly worrying about things out of my control. It is what it is and everyone will be in the same boat.

Aside from the fundraising life has been pretty uneventful recently. Now that I have finished my CBT sessions I am feeling pretty good and slowly rediscovering the old me hopefully. I think being kind to myself is an important thing not to lose sight of. Today I ordered a couple of CDs by the band Sea Girls with vouchers I got for my birthday, so they should arrive in the next couple of days. I also have some NEXT vouchers to use, but I am not too sure what to get. This from the man whose social life needs kick-starting again! 😄 Short and sweet today. Until tomorrow x
