I have spent the last couple of days doing the finishing touches to the Fields of Dawn album. Not without unexpected niggles, which resulted in me deciding to do a final remix of the No Man’s Land track. However, the biggest and most fiddly task is getting all the tracks at the same volume. I use Audacity software, which is really helpful, but because I have recorded this album over a period of 18 months it just has different levels and my untrained ear has struggled. Getting there slowly, but surely.
The album cover is coming along. You can get an idea from the back cover for the vinyl release here. I am wondering if there is anyone I have missed off the thanks list! 😂 Give me a nudge now or forever hold your peace! 🤣
I should hopefully be in a position to place the order for the vinyls in the next week or so.
