Colours coming out in my garden. This Wisteria is one of my success stories. It’s actually in a pot, which I guess has restricted it’s spread, but I think it’s actually just the right size and at least the trellising survives!

Tonight I have been mixing the new music recording of the track called Destiny. It’s a song I wrote back in the late 1980s. I’d moved back to folks for a year or so in between properties, and I wrote this song in my bedroom. I’m really pleased with this one, and it will be on the album… If there is an album 🤞

I will keep pushing the Check Your Poo track for the rest of bowel cancer awareness month. It’s perhaps a song that hasn’t connected with people in the way I hoped it would and not sold many copies. Perhaps it’s a kind of “If you know, you know” type of song. However, my aim with it is to raise awareness about bowel cancer, and I think to that end it has achieved its objective. I’ve really enjoyed the spontaneity of writing, recording and releasing it so quickly, and especially for the wonderful support with the video. I think 6 months ago I might have struggled and felt a sense of disappointment, but I’m really proud of this contribution to bowel cancer awareness month. There has been some seriously amazing stuff being done this month by so many people from the bowel cancer community. A massive well done and let’s keep pushing for the final week, and of course beyond x
