The news tonight of the death of the amazing Dame Deborah James is utterly devastating. This awful and cruel disease, bowel cancer, has taken yet another wonderful human being. My thoughts are with Deborah’s family tonight xxx
I’m sure I will find the right words in time, but I am going to just leave it there tonight x
Deborah left these words… “find a life worth enjoying; take risks; love deeply; have no regrets; and always, always have rebellious hope. And finally, check your poo – it could just save your life.” There is so much in just one sentence that we can take and learn from. I’m so glad that I spent today at Henley Regatta, an event that Deborah loved. I am very much work in progress as far as really enjoying life goes, and taking risks, having no regrets, and I wish I had someone in my life to love deeply. However, I most certainly have rebellious hope and will do my very best to lead my best life xxx
