With my Fields of Dawn album, A New Dawn, not too far away now, I am thinking of new promotion ideas. I’ve planned to release a video of a track off the album. So I now have an expanded idea to release a digital single with a video. However, I don’t want to just release a track off the album, so I thought perhaps an edited track might be a better idea just to keep things a bit different. The purpose of the single would be more to promote the album than to raise funds, but I do have an idea regarding the fundraising element even if it is just to raise a small amount of cash.

The final track on the album is called Sun And Rain, and it comes in at over 5 minutes long and is my attempt at an epic album closing track. When I recorded it I also edited a sub 4 minute version and it is this version I am thinking of releasing along with a video.

I’d be genuinely interested if anyone has any thoughts or opinions on this. The pre-orders are now approaching £475 in terms of money raised for Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength and The Bowel Movement thank you to everyone for the support. Please keep it coming x
