Almost four years ago I published the Lives & Times fundraising book. Today a new batch of books arrived from the printers as it continues to sell, which I find quite wonderful and am ever so grateful. I never thought I would still be buying in supplies of books in 2019.
Things were very different back then. Mum’s health was declining as the cancer had spread to her brain, but we had no idea what lay ahead over the coming months, and ultimately Mum’s death in 2016. I also couldn’t foresee just how well the book would be supported, and it has raised thousands of pounds so far for Beating Bowel Cancer, and now Bowel Cancer UK. If the new book, The Record, which is coming out later this year does as anywhere like as well I’ll be delighted.
If you are looking for something a little different to read then you could do a lot worse than buying a copy of this. It features an amazing cast of people, and all proceeds raised are donated to Bowel Cancer UK.
