The debut album from my music project Fields of Dawn was released in September and has raised over £1100 so far. A New Dawn is available on vinyl, CD and digital download. Recording of the album took over a period of 18 months. Two tracks were recorded with Steve Smiley Barnard of The Alarm at the helm with the other other 9 songs all self-produced. The songs have all written by myself and have a punky, alternative, melodic perhaps power pop sound to them. The one track that is the exception to this is No Man’s Land, which is a piano ballad about that legendary football match during World War 1.

100% of the profits raised from every sale is divided between three cancer charities. Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength and The Bowel Movement. The 11 track album features On The Way Back and You, which raised so much money last year, as well as new tracks including Destiny, Here We Go, No Man’s Land and The Sun & The Rain. There is an electric full on band version of Sunrise, the first Fields of Dawn release from 2020, and there is also a new Fields of Dawn version of the Goodbye Farewell track which was performed by four different artists a couple of years ago.

I ordered and paid for 100 Vinyl LPs costing over £1000, so I need to recuperate some of that outlay if I can. My plan was to order 50 copies of the vinyl, but there was only a small difference in the overall cost, so silly not to go for 100. So far around 40 of the LPs have been sold. If I manage to sell all 100 copies then a really sizeable amount of money will be raised. I am grateful for the amazing support I receive and an order of the album in any format would be really appreciated x

There is also uni-sex t-shirt available raising funds as well. These are sent to you directly from the printer within a few days of ordering.
