It’s been a busy few days with plenty of the #bowelbears out and about on adventures. Richard and Andrea Morgan took #bowelbear Suzie to the Pettigrew Tea Rooms in Cardiff, with Suzie decorated in her poppies. Richard has a big smile on his face, and this was before Wales beat England in the rugby!
In Cologne in Germany #bowelbear Dylan went to carnival, and if fact a very lucky bear as he went to a ladies only party, with singing and dancing on the tables and chairs.
Meanwhile in Llandudno at Venue Cymru, #bowelbear Poppy had her first outing as the mascot of the Powerplay Musical Theatre Company at the Got To Sing Got To Dance show. The good news is that Poppy will be travelling with the group all year as their mascot for all productions.
Helen Johnson went to the dentist today, and two more #bowelbears found new homes with her dentist Sara and dental nurse Jane – going to show that going to the dentist can be fun.
I am selling the bowel bears to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK in memory of my mum who died of bowel cancer in 2016. Last weekend also saw the fundraising of items sold go past £5000, for which I am deeply grateful to everyone who has been so generous with their support. If you add in the Snowdon climb, the skydive and Decembeard then the total fundraising in around £10,000 since Mum’s bowel operation in 2012.
