With Christmas adverts all over our television screens it seems only fair that I jump on board the festive bandwagon too. The online store at rivers2cross.com has a variety of items including books, bears, reindeer, art, t-shirts and wristbands with 100% of the profits donated to Bowel Cancer UK and Love Hope Strength. These items would make ideal Christmas gifts for both adults and children.

Get in the Christmas spirit with this very special Poodolph Bowel Cancer Reindeer to help raise awareness about bowel cancer.

The Record has raised over £800 since its publication in the summer. It took almost three years to complete and is dedicated to the memory of Mum. I have met and photographed a variety of famous people for the book as well as many amazing and inspiring people from the bowel cancer community. Each person taking part has told me about the first record that they bought, and all have been willing to help raise awareness about bowel cancer, which is Britain’s second-biggest cancer killer.

Get in the Christmas spirit with this very special Love Hope Strength Reindeer #14 raising funds for the Love Hope Strength Foundation, which is a charitable foundation whose purpose is to raise funds and awareness in order to benefit people with cancer and leukaemia.

The Stop Bowel Cancer Bears have been travelling all over the world this year. When people buy a bear they give it a name, and then take it with them on their travels and send me photos. A great way to raise awareness about bowel cancer, and have some fun doing it at the same time.

The stunning Lives & Times screen prints created by Reigate artist Adam Green care raising funds for Bowel Cancer UK. The print sized 39cm x 49cm on 300gsm Somerset paper is limited to just 25 copies.

The support this year has been incredible, and I’d be very grateful for any support in the lead up to Christmas to raise as much funds as possible for the two charities. Please go to rivers2cross.com/shop to see the complete range of items available.

Mum died of bowel cancer in 2016. It is the second biggest cancer killer in the UK claiming 16,000 lives each year. However, it detected early it can be treated in over 90% of cases with patients living for five years or more. This figure drops dramatically to just 7% when diagnosed at the late stage 4. Raising awareness is vital in helping to improve early diagnosis rates.

The other charity I support is the Love Hope Strength Foundation co-founded by Mike Peters of The Alarm, who has lived with cancer for over 20 years. LHS is a charitable foundation whose purpose is to raise funds and awareness in order to benefit people with cancer and leukaemia.
