Joanna Jonathan, who lives in Haslingden a town in Rossendale with her husband and two young children, has stage 4 lung cancer and has just started her last line of treatment. Research is now her only option to live longer. She has co-founded the ALK+ Europe Charity Trust, which has the sole aim of raising money to extend the lives for all ALK+ cancer patients through vital medical research.
I have put together two very special packages to help with the fundraising efforts. Freya North has recently published her 16th novel Little Wing and each package will contain a copy of the hardback edition. The package will also contain a unique Little Wing teddy bear. Finally, I am really grateful to Freya, who will add a signed and personalised bookplate for each package, which can be put into the book. I met Freya, who is an Ambassador for Bowel Cancer UK, back in 2015 for my Lives & Times fundraising book, and she is a really kind and wonderful lady.
The two highest offers by Sunday evening at 8.00pm will get the packages. I want to raise as much as possible for Joanna. Please note that offers must start from £30 or higher. This is also open to non-UK residents but there will be a £10 shipping charge to anyone outside the UK.
