The stop bowel cancer bears have gone to some amazing locations all over the world, and some of the photos I’ve been sent have been absolutely brilliant. I think that David Weeks has just raised the bar with these amazing photos. He took bowel bear Henry Rollins with him on an eight mile hike on the Appalachian Trail in the Eastern United States, and took in the stunning McAfee Knob scenic overlook.
The bowel bears appear to have no fear of heights – there is nothing that could have persuaded me to do that! David told me that adhesive tape was used to prevent Henry being blown off!
I was delighted to meet David earlier this year in Llandudno at The Gathering to see The Alarm. He is living with stage 4 bowel cancer, and has taken Henry on some brilliant adventures and thereby helping to help raise awareness about bowel cancer.
So the question is can anyone beat this photo? Keep the pictures coming in.
