Helen Johnson was probably one of the first people I met on social media when I began my bowel cancer fundraising after my mum’s bowel operation back in 2012. Helen has supported everything that I have done, and she herself has had bowel cancer. Although we have yet to meet to meet in person, that is going to change very soon, as Helen is going to feature in my new book, The Record, which is coming out next year.

Helen has named her bear Hope, which I think is a fantastic name, and today Helen, and her husband Bill, took #bowelbear Hope to Miss Marmalades in Nantwich where they met up with their friends Ralph and Linda.
