On The Way and Far Far Away the recent release from Fields of Dawn has raised over £365 for the Love Hope Strength Foundation co-founded by Mike & Jules Peters of The Alarm. Mike and Jules are doing the 177 miles Offa’s Dyke Trek from May 23rd to June 3rd raising funds for LHS, so proceeds from any sales will be donated to that fund for the next few weeks.
I am immensely proud of this release and in my very biased opinion it deserves to be a top 10 hit raising loads of money for LHS. Special thanks to Steve ‘Smiley’ Barnard from The Alarm for drumming on and producing both tracks, and making it my finest work to date. I think a good test is asking myself is if I heard this on the radio would I buy it? Too bloody right I would and I’ve bought the CD, download and vinyl.
