Mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2012, and I began fundraising not long after her bowel operation, so it’s almost 8 years now. I supported Beating Bowel Cancer, and then Bowel Cancer UK after the two charities merged. The news today of Bowel Cancer UK announcing staff consultation on redundancies due to income losses of almost 40% caused by coronavirus pandemic is desperately sad. My thoughts are with the wonderful staff x
Charities need our help and support more than ever during these difficult times. Money is tight for everyone, but if you are able support please do so as every penny really does count at the moment. I am all the more determined to carry on with my fundraising for Bowel Cancer UK. My original plan for 2020 was to go to events to sell my book to raise money, but unfortunately all events are not happening now. So please take a look at the items listed here or have at look in the online store by clicking here. If you can support I’d be very grateful indeed.
