The Reflections EP from Fields of Dawn is released on November 18th. As well as being a digital download, it is also available on 10″ Vinyl for a very short time. The vinyl is being made to order and if you would like a copy please let me know as soon as you can, as I am placing the order in the next few days, and there won’t be any more runs of the vinyl after I’ve placed this order. This is not for sale on the website, so if you want one please let me know and I will then send you a payment link for £25. All profits raised will be donated to Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength and The Bowel Movement.
The EP features three tracks and for a bit of fun we are aiming for the Christmas No. 1 spot! In which chart I am not sure yet 🤣
- Track 1 No Man’s Land
- Taken from the album, A New Dawn, this version has a slightly different ending and the whole track has been remixed and remastered for this release. The song is about the legendary game of football played between the Allies and Germans on Christmas Day 1914. Let’s just say, that for this special version, my A-Level German has come in handy for the first time in almost 40 years!
- Track 2 News At Ten
- A brand new acoustic cover version of the single by The Vapors, which was their follow up to Turning Japanese. A far superior song in my opinion, which sadly failed to replicate the success of its predecessor. It remains one of my all time favourite songs.
- Track 3 On The Way Back
- Another acoustic track. This song has been the most popular Fields of Dawn track to date. Originally recorded with Steve ‘Smiley’ Barnard of The Alarm and features on the current album. This brand new acoustic recording is specially for this release.
I have already been blown away by having enough interest to make this vinyl run viable, so this really is a very short window of opportunity for you to get the release in this format. Get in touch with me here, or on social media if you would like a copy on vinyl x
