Show 10 is an Easter special with the focus this week turned from the alternative punk guitar sound to a more polished pop sound. Billed as a pop show, but really it would be impossible to categorise the style as there are so many different ones making up this week’s show.

Starting off with the gloriously over the top Since You’ve Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson, 19 more melodic monster tunes follow. Tilly Valentine is someone to watch out for and has already performed at Glastonbury and gone past 1 million streams on You Tube. The 2023 winner of Eurovision features. Tattoo didn’t do much for on the night last year, but Loreen has some voice! Pink and The Wanted go back to back, and then if you remember I Dream To Sleep by H20, lead singer Ian Donaldson has recorded a beautiful acoustic version of the track. There are a number of tracks that I have heard on Instagram stories including Skylar Grey and Fearless Soul. Lily Martin’s £10 Dress is another top tune and watch out for this young lady. The show finishes with the brilliant Grow Old With Me by Tom Odell.

Next week normal service will resume with the return of the punk/new wave/power pop guitars. That is already shaping up to be quite some show…
