Show 16 could only start this week with a song from The Alarm. The recent news about Mike Peters fighting cancer once again has been a shock to many and he is very much in our thoughts. I will be playing plenty more music by him as his treatment progresses. Without A Fight is totally apt for the moment and is taken from The Alarm’s Under Attack album.
The show is full of classic tracks with plenty of new tracks squeezed in to. It also features a recent reworking of Is Vic There? by Department S to celebrate its 40th anniversary a couple of years ago. The Punk AF Show once again provides a couple of wonderful modern punk tracks by Mosquito and The Stiff Nips. There’s a quite brilliant track from the new Frank Turner album, and Smiley keeps The Alarm connection going with a superb song called Withered. A classic piece of punky power-pop from The Telegents is a recent discovery for me. The show ends with a brilliant live song from Joe Jackson.
The full track listing is below and it’s another hour of great music. Listen, share and enjoy. Remember if there is anything you would like me to play then drop me a line x
