Each week I am playing about 16 tracks which after my spiel in between tracks makes up about an hour’s worth on the kind of music that I would love to hear on the radio. I find it more and more difficult to find stations that cater for my own musical tastes, so I am doing it myself. Staring off this week with the classic Into The Valley by The Skids, which is followed by the equally brilliant Message In A Bottle by The Skids. There are some real gems in the show including a tracks from The Alarm’s Alternative Declaration album. A couple of superb new songs. One by a band called Burning Trash another from Loveshovel, both of which I first heard on Punk AF hosted by Paul Hammond. There is also classic music from Idlewild, Jilted John, The Vaccines and Maximo Park. The closing song this week is totally bonkers and brilliant Nice Weather For Ducks by Lemon Jelly.
