The brand new video for Sunrise by my new musical project Fields of Dawn is now live on YouTube. With three weeks to go until the digital download single is released it’s time to begin ramping up the promotion. The track will be available from all online digital download stores including iTunes, Amazon, Google Music, Apple, Spotify and Napster. All profits made by the song will be donated to the Love Hope Strength Foundation co-founded by Mike Peters of The Alarm. The charity promotes innovative, music related, outreach and awareness programmes for leukaemia and cancer sufferers, survivors and their families. The charity raises awareness and recruits potential donors to the organ and bone marrow registers.

This is my first attempt at making a music video, and it was shot on my Lumix camera. The main problem I had was having to use a tripod for the whole shoot as I had no-one on hand to help me with the filming. The tripod wasn’t really high enough either, but it was fun doing it, and I enjoyed editing all the pieces together. Please watch and share the video as the more exposure the song gets the better.

Sunrise is released on February the 7th, and will be available to pre-order from January 24th. I have been doing a little bit of research and I’m planning an attack on the UK singles chart. It’s highly unlikely to chart, but not impossible. More about that soon…
