Welcome to rivers2cross, which is my cancer fundraising and raising awareness website that I set up after my mum died of bowel cancer in 2016. Profits from items in the online shop are donated to various cancer charities including Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength, The Bowel Movement, The BowelBabe Fund and Cancer Research UK.

All profits raised by every sale are donated to the Love Hope Strength Foundation co-founded by Mike Peters of The Alarm. On April 29th, Mike died at home in Dyserth after living with blood cancer for 30 years. He leaves a massive legacy of not just the wonderful music, but a global community of friendship of which he will always remain at the heart of. Thoughts are with his wife Jules, sons Dylan and Evan and the whole family x

Mike Peters of The Alarm passed away on April 29th 2025 after a 30 year battle with blood cancer. Together, with his wife, Mike co-founded the Love Hope Strength Foundation, which is a charitable foundation whose purpose is to raise funds and awareness in order to benefit people with cancer and leukaemia. The work of this wonderful charity will continue x

You can also choose the charity you wish the profits raised by your order to go to. The lion has four options. There is either Warrior or Courage and you can choose whether you want the writing to be in Chinese or English. We all have some warrior in us and it doesn’t have to be down to making massive leaps in your life. It can equally be the smallest of things. I used to refer to Mum as a warrior, and sadly at the moment the cancer community has lost a number of courageous warriors x
