A week ago, following the devastating news about Deborah James, I launched the Bowelbabe teddies supporting the Bowelbabe Fund. The response has been amazing and it’s been a very busy few days as a result, especially as I was away over the weekend, so effectively losing 3 days of teddy bear making time as a result. I have desperately wanted to get all the orders received so far out as quickly as possible, and tonight I have caught right up to date and will get those orders out tomorrow. Thank you everyone for your patience. Normally I would have done a 2 week pre-sale to give myself time to get the orders ready in advance, but due to the nature of Deborah’s situation I wanted to get the teddies to people as quickly as possible.

The aim of doing the teddies is to raise as much money as possible for the Bowelbabe Fund, so please keep the orders coming in and with the amount raised standing at £1085, let’s see how much more can be added to the total. The amount raised has already far surpassed my expectations, so thank you to everyone for all the support x The photos of the bears have been arriving from their new homes, which is brilliant, so please keep sending those to me.

As well as the Bowelbabe teddies the other bears are still selling. Tonight it was really nice to be getting a Kickasskell teddy done. I have also sent out a whole set of Gift-A-Bears today supporting a dementia charity, and yesterday a couple of Life of Mique teddies were dispatched. In the last seven days I am guessing that approximately 100 teddies have been sent out. Until tomorrow x
