There was certainly signs of Autumn in air this morning. A distinct chill in the air and misty are the overnight rain. However, with the warm weather continuing, the sun was burning through the mist at 7.30 at work as me and Prince had our early morning stretch.
In just 12 days’ time “A New Dawn” will finally be released to the big wide world. I’ve recorded the 11-track album over the last 18 months and the profits raised from every sale of the release will be shared by three charities: Bowel Cancer UK, Love Hope Strength and The Bowel Movement.
The importance of being kind to yourself is something I have been working hard on over the last 12 months. Normally, I think buying two Vinyl LPs would still be a little extravagant, but I used a voucher I was given last Christmas, so I only had to pay the £6 difference.
Meet Hunny, the Stop Bowel Cancer teddy bear, who is visiting the UK with Danielle. They are staying in the stunning location of Chester.
All the profits raised from my Fields of Dawn album are going to 3 cancer charities. I thought it would be a nice idea to write down a little about the charities. As things stand £550 has been raised by pre-sales so far. I still have 77 Vinyl LPs and 35 CDs left, and if by some minor miracle I can sell the lot then the figure raised will rise substantially. I’m so grateful for all the support so far x
